Which is better for gaming? What's the difference between the 2nd link and the 3rd link? Whats the difference between x38 ad x38t?

so x38 supports only ddr3? or ddr2 and ddr3?

So http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128080
is the best?

I believe X38 is the only Intel chipset that supports DDR3, but there are some X38 boards that still use DDR2. As daisymtc said above, X38T denotes a board that requires DDR3.

So that first link requires DDR3 RAM. The other two links seem almost identical. A couple of differences:

1. The DS4 supports a slightly higher clock speed for memory
2. The DQ6 lists "Matrix RAID" while the DS4 does not -- not sure if that's significant
3. The DS4 has 2 less onboard SATA 3Gb/s connections

I don't know which is "best" (I would think the DQ6 would be, because it's a newer model, isn't it?), but I think I agree with your choice of the DS4.
