Default ASUSnForce4 Chipset Motherboard

i am interested in building my first computer and i was wondering if anyone can help confiming what type of hard drive, ram, optical drive will work, here is the link and thanks in advance http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...131-530&depa=1

184 pin DDR Ram, either ide or sata hdd, and cdrom as long as its not scsi, but i would recommend getting an nforce3 instead of a 4 because the nforce4 from what i've heard is very buggy still

I'm not sure but I dont think anyone asked anything about building an ULTIMATE gaming system. Also your system is out of most peoples budgets so lets help em build a system that's right for him.

im just looking for the type of connections the motherboard uses so everything i buy is compatible, for example the motherboard says it uses sata2, so is sata also compatible

Its not as stellar as the NF3 (with two exceptions) but its certainly not a bad chipset by any means

ISA?.... Dude that was discontinued in 2000, if other companies were still putting it on up until then.
