Question New Computer Build Questions

Hey, I hope you don't mind but I will be posting all of my questions I have about the current PC I am building in this thread. All future questions will be posted here as well.

the motherboard only controls the fans that are plugged into it via the 3-pin connectors. If that helps.

ok so the motherboard doesnt power the fans at all, just controls them. So that mean I plug them both the molex and three pin.

No, plugging it into the 3-pin connector will power it also. So no need for the molex.

They power them too. If you want proof just take a look where the CPU fan is plugged in

Those fans look like a regular 4pin molex to me...

And if I'm not mistaken, only 4 pin (Not 4pin molex) have the speed control thing... although some 3pins have a controller... (or a add on controller).
