Arrow stuffed up fan

i think this is the right place it place this
well anyway, my fans spinning way too fast, (after the night my power supply box had some smoke out of the cozs the fan wast stuck) when i got it unstuck it span really really fast can the comp starts shaking..
any ideas? new fan perhaps?or is there more to it....-.-

the fan's motor was most likely damaged when the fan was stopped but had current running through it. your best bet would be to buy a new power supply, if you cannot get the original fan out and find a suitable replacement.

Yeah, that power supply sounds like it is waiting to pop... Those things roll a dice when they go out to, they can take any component with them....
