Default Most economical cartridge usage for Color Multifunction Laser Printer?

I am looking to get an all in one color laser printer, mainly because I bought a Dell W5300 monochrome laser printer about 18 months ago and the cartridges,(as expensive as they are) have such high yields (compared to ink) that the per page print cost of the more expensive laser printers are actually much cheaper (in the mid-long term range) than the ink based cartridge printers, at least thats what I have experienced. Please let me know otherwise, if you have evidence to the contrary. If you know it to be more economical to use a non-laser color all-in-one, I would obviously also consider that too, but please let me know.

ultimately, I am trying to make a good purchase for an All-in-one Color Printer (I am still assuming that laser cartridges are the more economical cost per page choice), but from the few companies I have looked at, namely, Brother, Lexmark, Dell, it seems as if the differences in the page yields is offset by a significant if not also an equal difference in the price. (Probably I assume because their websites showcase only the very "newest" models.)

Does anyone know which All-in-one color laser? printer is the best and most economical model to get, considering the price of the cartridges? Perhaps someone has already studied this?

P.S.
Just in case, anyone is looking for the best value for money on a monochrome laser printer, I bought the Dell W5300, about 2 years ago and now it seems that although it still has more or less the same highest level specification features(speed, yield, etc) as the "newest" top monochrome laser printer on the Dell site, it can be had for less than half the price as virtually the same "new" model printer on the Dell site. The W5300 is not sold on the Dell site anymore, at least not on the main page, but can be had for $300-$500(less than half when it debut and half what its virtual same "new" model asks) and the high yield cartridge is 27,000(the highest I know of for <$1,000 printers) and selling for often less than $100 on ebay. I'm not selling mine yet, just hoping that someone can advise me on a great deal for an all-in-one color laser? printer that I'm looking for and I just thought I should mention the discontinued model factor as that is probably where I am assuming the best value for money will be had, but obviously it would take me forever to back check all the good but discontinued models.

Let me know what ever you can. Thank you.

Also, price range should stay under $1,000, but the cost of per page printing and replacing cartridges is intrinsic within the total cost/value assessment.
