automatic adsl connection

i have adsl (broadband), whenever i log into internet i have to double click on 'speed touch connection' to connect internet, now what i do want to know is that..is there a way i dont have to click on the icon to connect to internet but whenever i switch on my pc that my internet connection is already ON? rather than clicking on the 'speed touch connection' icon and then connect to internet.

I've have had the same issues
If you want you can put that icon in the "Start Up" selection located in the "START" menu, and have it start-up and auto connect.[or find the selective properties of your "speed touch connection" and click on someplace where you can have it do that by itself]
But I'm thinking you want the kind that none of this happens, what you may want, is to have a LAN line- You can try creating a new connection, selecting one of the buttons that says "..connection.always on..". and try it like that. if this doesn't work, try calling your service provider and ask for help on how to do it.

im not sure, my sbc cd did the LAN thing for me
