Hey all, how good is the Asus Xonar D2X sound card? It does look very nice http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16829132005 but at $189.99 is it worth it over the Creative $65 PCIe card. And yes, unfortunately, it does have to be the PCIe interface leaving me with only 3 cards to pick from.
![]() Currently I have a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE PCI which is blocking my GPU Fan.

Creative's drivers under Vista 32/64 are absolutely diabiolical, the sound quality is very poor. I'd personally steer clear of Creative and Vista. I have an X-Fi Audio and I'm changing that for the PCI version of the Asus card as soon as I can afford it.
