Default Windows Clock Messed Up

So my machine is infected a bit, I ran combofix and now my clock looks like its in 24 hour mode. the time says 09:37 and it doesn't say AM or PM - also, when I put my mouse over the clock instead of saying January 11, 2008 it says 2008-01-11 - anyone know how to correct this?

Have you tried Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Customize button > Time tab > Time format dropdown box, and then the Date tab and its options?

That fixed the date, and the leading 0, but still no AM or PM

Why don't you use digital numbers? I.e. here is 17:21 on my computer. That I know how to modify. Cmd way and Date and time way on control panel...But I wouldn't know how you put AM and PM...

If your sure you have the time zone set right, right click on the taskbar, click properties and uncheck show clock hit apply and ok, open it back up and recheck show clock hit apply and ok and see if the AM/PM comes back.

I do use digital numbers.... i dont know anyone who has it as "Twelve Twenty-Eight" if thats even possible. What other kind of numbers are there besides digital? My point was it said 09:28 this morning... not 9:28 so I thought it was in 24 hour mode, in the US after 12:59 it goes 1:00 not 13:00 - I thought the setting was set to go to 13:00

tried... no luck. =\ its weird. I mean it's not a big deal. I think Ill know when it says 10:30 that its AM or 1:30 that its PM - but i'd still like it to be the way it was.

In the time format dropdown you must choose the option that has "tt" in it for AM or PM

Oh lol sorry, but I didn't explain it well. I meant not on 9:28 PM, AM, I meant if afternoon it's 21:28 if before noon then 9:28...

Bingo... got it. Thanks. For some reason when I was looking at the legend, I didn't even see that. Maybe had I looked harder I would've seen it and this would've been resolved hours ago. Im stupid.

Thanks again though man.
