I'm trying to restore the factory default of the OS from my Toshiba Satellite A105-S2712 with Windows XP, but I'm encountering a problem. I started by booting the disc and selecting the factory default option, then the computer shuts down and restarts but nothing happens; it goes on to booting up XP instead. I also followed the other method which is: turn on computer while holding on the "c" key and when the Toshiba logo appears, release the key. Again, nothing happens. I confused as to what might be the cause of the problem. I have done the recovery at least twice before, so I know that it was working before. Any help is appreciated.
