Default Q6600 G0 and B3?

Whats the differnce between the Q6600 G0 and B3 chips? Are they only selling one of the other now, or do you have a choice, and if they are selling one of the other, which one do you recommend?

G0 is a new stepping with little improvements in temperature and stuff. Right now it's mostly G0's on the market, but you could probably hit a B3 once in a while.

The best solution to not hit a B3 is either go for one where you are guaranteed a G0 or go for a retailer where there is a high stock turnover so there are either only a couple or no B3 cores left.

G0 has been out for a while, so you are almost guaranteed to get a G0 stepping. From Newegg for instance, everyone who is ordering the Q6600 is now getting the G0 stepping.

Ok, sounds like G0 stepping is the way to go. Is there a way that I can tell if it's G0 stepping on the box, or do I have to actually open the box up. Even though like you said, a computer store now should only have G0 stepping.
