Default Computer not starting

When I turn my computer on, it is in an eternal loop of the dell boot screen, safe mode select screen, and the xp load screen and no matter what selection i make on the safe mode select screen, it keeps in the loop. Nothing seems to stop it. Fairly new 3.0ghz Dell with XP Pro

It won't work.
Sometimes when you buy a new computer, some crucial parts will die.
It's understandable, that's why you have guarantee don't you?
The first thing that happened to my PC was Hard Disk death.
Next Motherboard, and oh, I think this is what happened to your case.
Dying motherboard.
Or dead one.
Anyway you can surely wait for a better answer.

a firewall is like a gate. it keeps the bad people out and the dog in but it's not fool proof. but lets say you download and run an infected program. that will be like letting in a "friend." if it's infected you run that program you can get malware. that's like a friend raping your family and stealing your money.

Yeah Im stupid and over looked when you said "no matter what selection i make it loops" or whatever... He makes a good point.... however if last LKGC doesnt work then drivers is out of the questiom, software is kind of far fetched since windows hasnt even loaded yet... its most likely a registry problem....

take a peak at that... it also might be just easier to reinstall XP, sometimes its best to admit defeat.
