it basically means to split the hard drive up
a hard drive needs to be partitioned before you can put anything on it a lot of times, most people just make one main partition from my understanding of it though, it's safer to do more then one like if there's a problem on one partition, so it somehow loses all the datat, generally you still can get the stuff off the other partitions |

I always have 2 partitions.
Right now I have a 160GB -- 50GB Main and 110GB secondary, This is great becuase It makes reformating a snap. Just store all the downloads in the secondary and only installs in the Main. |
