Default Enable dual channel

How do u enable dual channel?

Im using a ASUS m2a-vm mobo

and patriot epp ram
i have 2 sticks, each w/ one gig of ram.kit.

my startup screen is sayin i have single channel. i ran cpu-z it said the same thing...

btw no o/c'd and also does dual channel make a big difference?

and what does 'latency timings' mean. is 4-4-4-12 ok? im kinda new at this

Last edited by Vizy93; 01-14-2008 at 06:44 AM. Reason: since i have 2 sticks...are they supposed to go onto the same color slot on the motherboard, or diff?????
