Default please need help. this is getting annoying

hey, resently my computer started doing the "windows button + L" function on its own after a very short time of me being afk. i didnt screw with any settings though. how do i disable this?

You likely have a screensaver coming on that sends you back to the log on Window. Are you using Windows XP operating system?

yes i am using xp. so u think its a screensaver? casue it goes directly to the log in screen

Try going into your screen saver settings and set the time for your screen saver to come on at 60 minutes or longer. Do you know how to change the settings on this? If not, I can help.

actually turns out i have it set to none, so i guess the screensaver isnt the problem

Hibernation or Power saving could be the problem
Right click desktop / properties / Screensaver / Power / Advanced and ensure "Prompt for password from standby" is not ticked.
