Default Help with my Situation!

I currently have 1.5gig ram total. comes stock is 512mb total with one stick of 256mb and one stick of 256mb dual channel.

currently:

PC3200
- 256mb stick stock
- 256mb stick stock
- 512mb stick PNY
- 512mb stick elipsi something

total of 1.5gig ram which covers all 4 slots.

The elipsi something brand is bought when in PNY package. I bought PNY ram.... but inside is not PNY ram.... it is something else called elipsi something......

So my ram slots is all covered up..... i want to add a stick of 1gig more....... is it posible? which ram stick should I take out if I buy another 1gig stick? or it dont matter which I take out? also it is supose to be dual channel stock.... but is it still dual channel as right now?

Also if it was 512mb/512mb/256mb/1gig..... what is the total of that? 2.2gig?

and also I want Buffalo firestix brand 1gig stick.... does brand matter? i know i already have mix brand..... but if i buy high performance brand buffalo firestix..... will it make the performance better due to high performance brand? or jus normal since it is mix brand?

also does buffalo firestix ram have pc3200 a stick of 1gig avalible?

If you add a 1GB stick you will lose dual channel. It should be dualed right now.

Adding a high performance stick will do nothing because it will be set to the same settings as the RAM you already have.

You are corrent, if you install it as 512/1024/512/256 the total RAM is 2.25GB

I am only able to find 256MB sticks (or 512MB kits aka 2 256MB sticks of RAM) http://www.shopatbuffalotech.com/car....php?cat=42084
