Facebook turned sour. I liked it more when you had to have a college email in order to be a member. Now bosses use facebook during their employee selection process. Be as careful on facebook as you would anywhere else on the web.

Yeah, that's about the only downside. Other than that, FB is great.

Like said above, it has transitioned into a myspace-like environment, which most FB users do not like. The people that like all the crazy new stuff are the same young kids that go nuts on myspace.

Yeah that is true. Are there any underground social networking sites that don't have crazy myspace kids? Maybe like Google Orkut?

Facebook is crap. I'm so sick and tired of getting spammed by the stupidity masquerading as "applications". The last time I had over 250 invites to use some crackhead, lame-ass application. Complete stupidity. Now they're making applications that you can't use unless you spam other people with invites.

I'm done with that asshattery until Facebook smartens up. I don't want to be a vampire. I don't give a damn what you ate for breakfast or your speed dating desperations. Either drop me a line to say hi or piss off.

yeah i have to agree with you, that was the reason i canceled my account before, too many crap and application one cannot even understand, but a few weeks, i said hey why not see whats going on there, so after i put in my email, it asked me if i wanted to activate my account.. so i did just temporarily to see if it has improved, i guess not, cause my Mac lover section is gone
