I have two hard drive in raid 0 and was wondering if it is only to change the sata cables when the pc is off.

Will I have to redo the raid if i remove the cable?

No. Just make sure you place the SATA cables back into the correct (previous) slots.

just change the cable and put it back as it was before. The sata cables seems loose so i got one that has a clip so it will not pop out accidentally
