Day before yesterday i ran cpu-z and found out i wasnt using dual channel. i fixed that. ever since ive been have problems with the Blue screen. i'll be just web surfing or emailing and all of a sudden it happens. ill give you a timeline...sorta:
1st time: I was ok, i just restarted comp and it worked. 2nd time: this time i went to bed while my comp. was having an all night download party...the party ended early, in the mornng i turned on monitor and it said PNF_LIST_CORRUPT...i googled it said something about ram...just restarted and went to school. 3rd time: come back from school and he screen is back up...PNL_FILE_LIST CORRUPT... 4th time: i'm getting scared now, the intervals of time are getting shorter as this time there is no stupid PNL_FILE_CORRUPT...just windows has caught a driver '' somehting something something'.comp rstrt. 5th time: happens 1 hr later...something about IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. i google it and several websites say it is either a .... 6th time: BOOM!!! it happens again . Same IRQL_NOT.....then i go to my other comp, and i google it, it says its soemthing to do w/ cpu overheating, or RAM...i assumed it was the latter(RAM). so research a quickie way to check temps on cpu...BIOS ofcourse. so i go to bios, i'm gettin 50 celcious, is that bad????????????????????? i get into windows xp (im back on my BSoD comp...) and check temps using pcwizard....50 celcious fluctuating...alway staying higher then 47....so plz help, right now i think the RAM was a quick fix....changing from dual to single channel...but thats stupid. COME ON!!! i like dual. PlzPLZ anything would be appreciated... and btw, my ram gets really hot, hotter then to press to my face comfortable... plz once again, anyone help...anytin would be cool. srry for my grammer and spelin, im just really frustrated...btw thanks again for finishing this post... ahtlon amd x2 dual core 6000+ no overclock 3.0ghz 2gb patriot ddr2 ram asus m2a-vm mobo thats all worth mentioning...
