Default will i loose everythink if i setup a raid0 in the BIOS

i have 2 500G HDDS an i want to raid them in raid 0 if i do this thourgh my BIOS do i have to format or will it just work?
also can u partishion a RAID0 drive just with partshion magic

You will have to format. Once the array is built you access it just like a single drive. You will need drivers if you plan to install windows to a raid array. Your motherboard manufacturer will provide them on their website.

I've merged these because it is the same question. Once the array is created, it acts just like a single hard drive. Anything you could do to a hard drive (ie partition it umpteen billion ways) you can do with a RAID array weather it's a RAID0, RAID1, RAID5, and so forth.
