Default Ram question for Dell Dimension 4400

I have a Dimension 4400 with a 1-128 MB in 1 slot and 256-MB in the other slot. I put the 256 MB in a year or so back and I think it is PC3200.

I was thinking of putting either 1-512 stick in where the 128 is now or buy 2-512's and doing both slots for 1 GB.

My question is can I use any mfg.'s DDR PC3200 ram?

As long as your MoBo supports 1GB of DDR, you SHOULD be able to use any brand. However, there are rare instances where the sticks are incompatible with the MoBo. I'd recommend Corsair's ValueSelect series, I have a 512mb stick of that running with my original 512mb stick on my Dimension 4500 and it works great.
