Default how to extract exe files

il try my best to explain here goes... im trying to extract an exe file so i can let windows install the driver for me through device manager, when i mean extract i mean so all the files are exposed so windows can grab the files it needs, i know how to extract files through winrar but for some reason when i right click on the exe it doesnt have the option to let me extract all the files

You can try winRAR to extract the exe, but doesnt work in all cases. If you run the exe it will extract itself into \Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Temp.
Just delete all the files in that folder first so you can find it easier.

ive right clicked it and theres no option to extract it in a seperate folder but i think what your saying is make the exe a winrar file and then open up the rar file and it will extract it for me?
