Default Windows Update help!!!

ok i set my update to download and let me choose when to install. now the yellow shield comes up saying its d/ling but goes away when wanting to install. i can only install by turning the computer off. i think i caused it by saying i didn't want to install the update and it asked if i didn't want notification of 'these' updates again. i said not thinking it meant the particular update. i think it meant updates in general.

thanks in advance

If you can see this, you have WAY TOO much time on your hand. Or you're a mod going through my sig. But if you do, copy and past this in your sig.

I guess yes. Automatic updates option. It won't ask you, only download and install them, even without your knowledge.

a firewall is like a gate. it keeps the bad people out and the dog in but it's not fool proof. but lets say you download and run an infected program. that will be like letting in a "friend." if it's infected you run that program you can get malware. that's like a friend raping your family and stealing your money.
