Question How do I get QuickTime .mov to the web?

I have basic hosting at GoDaddy. I'd like to get one of those .mov pages for a QT video I have. The page is typically all white and the video embedded dead center.

Btw, I'm a newb, and hardly know how to use the FTP client.
I've googled for days, but I only find how to embed the video to your own page once it's on the web --but I need to create a url first.
