1. if you dont need/want a lcd then dont jump on the bandwagon to get one
2. you only need the low timings of that lcd if yer into gaming (even then you gotta consider the videocard+native resolution etc)... which is why i aksed what the intention was

PSU 101 here but the just of it is "the wattage doesnt matter if the power is being delivered on the wrong rail"
i wont mention again but i'd seriously advise you avoid lg for opticak drives.
