Default q6600 temp

i reset my cpu settings to default and put the voltage and everything on auto and put it right up to 3.1ghz, and i have intel speed step on so it lowers the clock my temps are
cpu temp 37.5
core1 46
core2 44
core3 37c
core4 38
cpu voltage 1.408
and the cpu speed switches from 2.1ghz to 3.1 is it hot at 2.1 because it is still taking in the extra voltage, cause 2.4 i get 30c

Hmm thats strange

I have no idea why, id just go to 3. 6 GHz, disable speedstep and be happy with it

As long as you stay below 70 - you'll be fine

Get a bigger radiator if its too hot
