Logitech Speaker Owners: Control Pod Extension Cable Fix

As an owner of the Logitech Z-5500’s, I understand the frustration of not being able to extend the control pod’s connection to the sub. It affected the aesthetics of my desk and the placement of my control pod was not ideal. After reading many warnings about using extension cables and talking to many Logitech representatives about the issue, no one was able to help me. But, I did not give up…

Recently, I went to a small, local cable shop where you can request custom cables to be made to fit your exact need. I took in my control pod and had them create a custom cable for me. I tested it out, and IT WORKS! No problems, no issues what-so-ever. I found a fix to the problem!

The systems affected by this issue include but are not limited to:
Logitech Z-5500
Logitech Z-5300e
Logitech X-230
Logitech Z-2300
Logitech X-530
Logitech Z-4

Basically, all the speaker systems with the VGA-like control pod connection can be extended using this custom cable. NOTE: Logitech warns against the use of a standard VGA cable as an extension cable. These cables I am providing are specially designed to work with the Logitech speaker systems as extension cables for the control pod to subwoofer connection.

that's cool. but basically you're trying to bypass the 100 post minimum by selling like this? what cable company/shop is doing this? btw cant PM you because you dont have 100 post yet so it has to be email
