ok what about the E6750?
see dad has that MOBO with a Pentium D950 @3.4 an it is not doing it for him i sugested the E6750 was best for what he was willing to spend he dose not mind that his MOBO will only suport 533MHz ram he just wants to upgrage his CPU

the best you can get is E4600

By the way, just looked at offical website. It say GA-945PL-S3 (rev. 3.x) is able to boot with Intel® Core™2 Duo supporting FSB 1333MHz ...
