No way does this amount to 2 grand?

I suggest one of the new 45nm CPUs that Intel just released. If you have a nice budget, be one of the Q9000 series quad 45nm core chips.

The X38 chipset motherboards are nice, they support dual videocards (ATI)

You may want a larger HDD than 80 gigs, that isnt tooooo much space.

Mate get a G5 mouse. They are the best mouse I have ever used and I'm pretty dam serious about gaming.

ok i would get a wd 250gb for storage, and a raptor for running the os, get the g5 mouse, the only reason i would get the raptor is because it loads everything faster

I thought the case was kinda different. I actually like it. In addition to your setup I think the Logitech G9 mouse is great and you should try it out. I think they go for 70-80 bucks now (alittle more than the one you chose)
