Default dose this make sense?

I have a "cretin file share client" (*cough* limewire *cough*) that runs faster when I brows the net. I use my neighbors wifi on my laptop and I noticed yesterday that when I was "using" the "file share client" The speed went from 2 kbps when I was not browsing the net to aprox. 80-100 kbps when I was. Dose anyone have a explanation for this strange phenomenon?

You should check the settings to make sure it doesn't shut down or limit the connection when your internet connection is idle.

1. Torrents

3. Port forwarding
3. Ripping songs from Itunes (DRM)
4. Downloading from YouTube
5. Any illegal copying of software...at all!!
6. Anything illegal at all in fact

a) Dont create any such thread
b) Certainly dont reply in any such thread

Claiming you "didn't know it was illegal/against the rules" is not a defense. Ignorance is no excuse and we all agreed to the rules when joining

The next rules states

This includes anything which we believe to be a hacking attempt eg
1. How do i recover my admin password
2. How do I keylog someone/my GF/my BF/friend
3. How do I play a joke on someone
4. How do i access the web at school
5. How do I use a proxy
6. Anything else which clearly comes under this rule

Again, this is clear, if you think the subject breaks this rule..
a) Dont post any such thread
b) Certainly dont reply in any such thread

And again, claiming you "didn't know it was illegal/against the rules" is not a defense. Ignorance is no excuse and we all agreed to the rules when joining

We will issue infractions/bannings for any user breaking these rules....that includes long standing members who should certainly know better

case in point Youtube to mp3 ---> itunes
going forward the following user:
mkjaekmi
maroon1
dark_legacy2006
Softix
JLV2k5
would all be looking at infractions for there responses in this thread (i havent issued them this time). PS special thanks for Brian for bringing other users into line.

Thank you
apj101
*cough, unallowed cough*. It's all caused by LimeWire which is P2P sharing software...I don't think, Omega that it is wise to help...

I'm still not clear on those rules, as there is nothing illegal about P2P, port forwarding, or torrents.

Very true, but I actually don't illegally download anything. My uncle uses it to send me videos from Iraq because the military has some strange rules about sending info, and his HQ uses limewire because they can easily monitor it, being part of the government and all.
