Default hdmi

i just got a dell inspiron 1525 laptop. It has an hdmi output, and a blu-ray dvd recorder. Can i play a blu-ray and then hook a hdmi cable to my tv, will it give a full 1080 pixels?

thanks,
Alex

If your TV supports 1080p resolution, then yes you can connect your laptop up to your TV via HDMI and watch blu-ray movies.
