The thing you put below the motherboard. Small brown things that you screw into the case then place the motherboard on top and screw screws into it?

Oh ok, yeah i was wondering if it was those things lol after a wiki'ed standoffs lol.

Um how would that make a difference? I think theres only four.

An Update.

My computer Tech said that he's had problems with other brand mobo's not posting with ram in slot 1, 2 and 4. So when he got my machine, first thing he did was pull all the ram out and put one stick into slot 3. This made the thing POST straight away so he tried adding on stick at a time and it all worked. He says just one of those random things that seem to work. So yeah if anyone has POSTing problems try that, remove all ram and just have one stick in slot 3.
