really, you never heard of linux!!! it is open source so that means people make it like you or me. the only think with linux is you NEED to know the terminal. but else you need to download the image.

i use fedora. there are over 100 distros of linux.

HAHAAH that is the TRUE question of linux.

I like fedora, others like bsd, some like unix, some like ubuntu, some like knoppix, some like debian, some like damn small linux............

It is really what you are most confertable with. Most start off with ubuntu since it is the top used, secount is fedora and so on. all have there advantages and disavanteges
