Hi I have a big problem with my laptop(ACER Travelmate 2310).The problem is when you turn on the laptop is working normaly only a few minutes, after that all applications are freezing. You even cannot turn off the laptop just when you take the battery out.The touchpad is the same,is working a few minutes, after that only with USB mouse.
Laptoprocessor Intel Celeron 1,4Ghz 1MB L2 cache
512 MB memory
40 GB HDD
SIS graphics driver

Do you run more than 3 programs at the same time (e.g. open too many browsers or play with jumbo softwares), or some programs at background cause freezing? Touchpad...what I could think of is sensor problem, but you could try to download touchpad driver and install it again.

The problem is that I reinstalled the windows and I installed all drivers from the ACER home page, but if I turn on the laptop not only the touchpad is not working the keyboard is not working as well. You cannot restart or turn off the Laptop only when you take out the battery. But if the windows is running under safe mode everything is working perfectly.

Is your fan running or making a weird noise>?Is the unit getting really HOT?When was the last time you blew out the dust?
