Hello
I'm attempting to overclock my 7600GT so I downloaded RivaTuner but I have no idea what to do from there. I want to have my card at the highest performance without destroying my card. If someone could walk me through RivaTuner that would be awsome. Thanks Edit: Also could someone recommend a safe Core Clock and Memory Clock, Fan Speed, etc.

Install it.
Run it. Little tab, and the first one gets you to the overclocking area. Detect now without restarting. Overclock and test. ![]()

Thanks for all the replys. Ok I got to the point . Now i guess i'll just load up a game (farcry maybe) and begin to tweak until I get the performance I want. What happens if I overclock to much?

just OC about 5-10mhz to start with, and run a few loops of 3dmark06.
You may not notice a whole lot of difference when overclocking the video card. If you do OC the ram too much, its possible it can cause damage to the memory. Meaning the card would be toast. Just do a little at a time, and you'll be fine.

hmm, I always tried using atitool to overclock, this seems a bit better tough.
I dont have the overclock option in the 'target adapter' pert tough, however, I do have the option to overclock on driver level (I suppose due to 2 grafic's cards wich have to run at the same speeds )
