Soundblaster can't be seen!! HELP!!!

I've recently reinstalled windows98SE, and now I'm confronted with the fact that the machine can't see my SoundBlaster Live Platinum sound card (with LiveDrive).
Every time I put in the installation CD ROM and try to run it, I get an error message which only gives me the option to close it down - so I can't get any further!!!
HELP!!! Please!!

Reset the soundcard

I get that problem a lot .. usually due to an improperly set card

Also,you might check into IRQ conflicts

Sorry to be a bit dim.... but how do I re-set the soundcard???

Open the case, unplug it and replug it back in

(turn the computer off first!)

Glad I could help ... them soundblasters have a way of doing that ... really annoying LOL
