Does anybody know how easy/hard it is to change the keyboard on one of these machines, a friend of mine spilt coffee on it, it still works apart from keys always sticking. thanks in advance.

take out the keys and clean them one by one?
well in 9 out of 10 notebooks you can easily change keyboard with removing a couple of screws... not to hard.

Usually at the bottom of any laptop there are screws. Some of the are specifically for the keyboard. Try looking for those and then unscrew them and the keyboard should come right out.

With the advents you have to remove the screw from underneath the laptop and then at the top end of the keyboard (near screen) their will be clips you need to push down with flat head screw driver to release, pull out ribbon cable and replace. Keyboard set you back usally £35 - but may need to ring repair centre for the parts.
