Question downloading xp... twice?

hey, im wondering if there is a way to download xp on to my system, on a CD-ROM that has already downloaded xp onto another system. another words, can i download xp off the same CD on two different computers?

I'm a bit confused as to what you are asking. AFAIK there is no place to legally download XP. Also each version of XP is only good for one PC, unless you have a corporate license.

i think he means "install" not "download.

No, I think he means if he can copy the XP cd onto another cd or dvd. Although that would be illegal, and if it's what OMEGA said, yes that's illegal also...

Before I go my copy of Windows XP I used my buddies version, which was the Full Version he bought at Best Buy and I installed it fine and he had it installed on his system.

it isnt anything to do w/installing, it's just illegal to do, if Microsoft finds out, they will mess you up big time
