It says the (RECOMMENDED) system requirements for the x1950pro is a 450Watt Power supply with 30Amps on 12v rail.
Will a 450watt power supply with 25Amps on the 12v rail do the job minimally without causing any damage to the computer? Since the recommended is 30 amps on the 12v rail, what would be the (minimum) amps on the 12v rail? |

Well, it might run fine, but there is a chance of getting your video card get overheated, because of not enough Amps to keep video card fans spin fast. It might stop spinnning and start to melt the plastic. Just like it happen to my 7950GT using 12V 18 Amps stock power supply. I got replace fans and plastic cover and i brought new gaming power supply using 12V 35Amps. It work great and much cooler.
