I just recently built a computer and at first the sound was working just fine but now for some reason it will play sound like normal on website,aim,music etc. but it will not play sound for my games. Any ideas?

If you are using the onboard sound you may want to consider getting an expansion card for gaming as well as multimedia since the drivers/software are generally limited for onboard. Most likely you will have to reinstall the sound all over again to see everything working again. Some of the drivers most likely were knocked out and made inactive.
