Newegg locations

Just wondering about Newegg shipping locations. I have an item being sent to the eastern shore of MD and it is shipping from Edison, NJ which is near Newark, NJ.

Where else have some peoples newegg products been shipped from? thanks

i bought from them before and i got taxed, so i'm guessing they're in california where i am. i thought newegg was only 1 location no? there's a newegg warehouse in other states?

There must be. They must have warehouse locations all over. They can afford to do this apparently because I do not think they have actual store locations.

I know california and new jersey. I got this from their FAQ:

Newegg has warehouses in CA, TN and NJ, and the appropriate tax rate is charged for any order shipping to these three states. Sales tax for cell phone orders shipping to CA and TN are calculated before any instant savings are applied.

*TN and NJ residents are charged according to their state and local tax rate
*CA residents in Los Angeles county are charged 8.25% sales tax
*CA residents outside Los Angeles county are charged 7.25% sales tax

California orders outside of Los Angeles county are not charged for district tax because we do not have a physical presence outside the L.A. district / county**:

*Sales Tax: 6.00%
*County Tax: 0.25%
*Combined State and Local Tax: 1.00%
*District Tax (L.A. County only): 1.00%
