Default Buying A Computer

Hi,
I've been looking for a good Gaming computer for £1000 or less
I've spotted 2 XPS Computers that I like for £999
XPS 420
http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/pr...n&s=dhs&~ck=mn

XPS 720
http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/pr...n&s=dhs&~ck=mn

Which one would be best for High end gaming or have you seen any other good computers around?

Thanks,
Tisy0

Will you consider building your own?

well i would go with the first one it seems to be more upgraded for the price. Also consider getting 4g of 800mhz ram instead of the 667mhz ram. this can be a little pricey but i did it and it was well worth it for my gaming rig

A bit expensive can change the tides on some things. I say go check out some local shops. They'll most likely have better systems for less.

Not necessary...
I get pass my local shop every week. They just overcharge.
Second-hand system like AMD 2600+, 512MB RAM, 40GB HDD, DVD combo, onboard graphic, Win XP, 17" CRT. £230....

The best way to get a PC is order every parts online, than go to the local store if having any problem...
