Default Best video card in the world?

Tomshardware.com

Well i guess Nvidia has finally been beaten, thats good to hear lol.

The card, the 3870 X2, has the same general theme as a 7950 GX2 going on, so it was only a matter of time untill this happened.

it seems that it games better, stays kinda cool, and doesnt draw much more power then a full-on 8800ULTRA, which is great. another great point is that it costs much less, at a price of 450$.

yeah i remember playing around with two side-by-side systems, one with a GTX and the other with a GX2 and the frame rate difference was very minimal...

Actually it consume more power than Ultra at full load

http://techreport.com/articles.x/13967/10

It have higher noise level as well

And that video card is not much faster than 8800GTS 512MB, and sometimes it performs worse

Wow, I didn't know that two HD3850's in crossfire were only as good as one GTS in Crysis, either

it looks a bit shit to me really. Slightly faster than an older nvidia card sometimes, louder, older tech... It's price seems to be its only real advantage

They had them in the past, IIRC there was a dual-GPU 6600GT also, in addition to the 7950GX2.
