Default HD3850 performance

hey ive been looking at buying the HD3850 as it seems to be the best Bang for Buck but i just wanted to know, from personal experience preferably, how it goes with running games such as call of duty 4 and crysis.

my dad has the asus 3850 no overclock an we can play crysis on med settings @1024 x 768 smoothly we dont have call of duty 4 an all of the other games we have it can run on high @ 1440 x 900 thats games like world in conflict , FEAR , Stalker , command & conquer 3 , company of heroes an more

it should play both games well, and most if not all settings on high with COD4. Crysis, it should play it on medium smoothly.

i have the 3850, play COD4 1680x1050, anti-aliasing 4x (highest it will go) and all other settings on normal and it runs fine and looks great.
