Outlook Express Emails Not Showing But Files Still There

Hello all,

On Outlook Express it prompted me to compact existing messages (I've done this before). The next time the PC loaded (it had frozen and I had to restart) I went into OE and found only some emails there. My whole Sent Items folder is empty. When I go to the Store Folder however the files seem to be there okay.

I've tried copying my Store Folder to another location and using that but it still doesn't show my emails.

Any ideas what this could be?
