Question TV Card - No Sound

Hi,

My friend has a TV tuner Card, and it works but it won't have any sound.

Now what can the problem be???

We have tried the audio out on the card, no sound will come through via the motherboard. It has no sound cable ports on the card???

It is a Lifeview PAL TV Card.

Any help is greatful.

i doubt this is it... but when i first set up my channels they play with AC-3 audio... which i cant hear for some reason... so i press A and they change to whatever is normal and the sound works then... that might be it

Have you tested your sound system without Tv Tuner. If it is working fine then try to reconfigure your Card and again make the connections .

Question

Yeah - the sound works fine - he uses it for MSN and itunes all the time and it still works via the motherboard sound, but the sound won't come out even plugging the sound straight into the back of the card it still won't work.
