music files problem.
having problems saving cds to my pc. tried using windows media player and the pc freezes up with the red light on constantly.tried using real player and the program queries the spec is not compatible.first attempt since having new hard drive and xp fitted,cant see what is wrong any suggestions.

Can you open windows media player to play any kind of music (for example, mp3)
