Angry Crysis Not Running Like It Should...

I didn't know which board to post this on so i figured i'd go with the video games board...

I assembled my computer last week and it runs Bioshock beautifully, but Crysis just isn't holding up. Here are my specs:

AMD Athlon X2 6400+ (3.2Ghz)
4 Gbs 800 DDR2
Leadtek nVidia PX 8800GT
MN2-SLI Delux Asus Motherboard
Vista Home Premium (64 bit)
Zalman 9700

According to windows my drivers are up to date and my windows experience index is 5.4, the hard drive being the lowest (windows says to the recommended WEI for crysis is 5.0).

My system specs also meet the recommended requirements on the Crysis box. I dont understand why then it can only run well at medium settings, and if i'm overlooking something i'd greatly appreciate it if someone pointed it out to me =D

Besides your CPU your system is nearly identical to mine. I can run it on highest settings @ 1024 X 786, no AA and AF with decent frame rates throughout the game, and a bit laggy at the end. I think it should be normal if you're getting absolutely no lag at medium settings and some lag in highest settings at a high resolutions.
