Default Computer not starting

I have problems with my new PC. I have assembled it myself and it worked fine for about four days.
The computer starts to boot (the leds on the mobo lights up, the psufan spins and the cpufan spins) but then it shuts down without notice. The screen show nothing at all and the cpu doesnt seem to be warm enough to force a reboot.
Parts:
MOBO: GA-P35-DS4
CPU: intel Core 2 Quad
PSU: Corsair HX520W
GPU: Geforce 8800GT
Ram: 2x PC2 6400 1GB Dual CH Reaper Edition 3-4-4-15

I have checked and rechecked it. Both that the CPU is correctly fit into its socket and that the sink fits properly, as they both do.

Did you place the standoffs correctly?

If you by 'standoffs' mean the plastic pieces that gives the correct "spacing" between the CPU and the sink, yeah they are firmly in place.
Also i get no beeps at all from the pc speaker.
I can also add that the cpu and psu both works fine on my friends rig.

hmm so it wont let you go into bios?

i would suspect the mobo is burnt out since your processor works fine.

Sometimes scientists make things alot harder than they need to. All they've gotta do is put a big spring on the ground where they think it's gonna land, or send a mission to the moon to erect a sign that says "Welcome to Earth".
