Hello everyone. I recently bought a wireless card for my new comp because I moved it upstairs. The problem is that it doesn't always work. Right now it is working. I'm pretty sure there is no interference because my brothers wireless comp always works fine from the same area.
I think it's either the card or the Motherboard. As long as I don't turn the comp off, it won't stop working. But once I do, there's like a 4/5 chance that it won't be able to connect. Sometimes it knows there is a wireless network, but it can't connect. And sometimes it doesn't see any network at all. My router: Netgear WGR614v6 Wireless card: Netgear WG311 Motherboard: Evga 680i OS: Vista 64-bit Thanks for any help. This is really aggravating me. |

Is your computer next to a wireless phone, like a home phone? Or any other type of interference? You can change the broadcast channel in the Router. When changing the channel go up or down by atleast 3 channels.
