Default 32MB vs 16MB Cache

Im trying to decide between these two drives:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148262

Ill be using this computer mostly for gaming and i probably won't need that much storage since ive been using an 80gb hard drive without problems for 3 years. Anyway will i see much of a difference between these two drives speed wise?

The 7200.11 is the newest series from seagate, as for difference, do not look at the cache, the bigger the hard drive the bigger the cache, what you want to look at is the seek times, the 7200.10 has a 8.5ms which is pretty good, I have only seen better with a Raptor....$$$$$, It does not say what the seek time is for the 7200.11 but since you said you dont need that much space I would go for the 7200.10.

i've read somewhere that says having a larger cache is a cheaper alternative for having a faster rpm drive.

if you're not in a hurry for a hd and live close to a fry's oftentimes (maybe once a month) fry's would have the 500gb seagate or WD for 89 dollars. the maxtors are more frequent

Cache on a drive is a gimmick. Anything over 1mb actually seldom, if ever, gets used.
